Remembrance Sunday ~ November 7/21 @ 10:30 a.m. (in-person worship with Covid protocols in place).
Memory is one of the primary handles we have to the roots of our faith. Memory keeps the significance of the past events relevant and meaningful for the present. On Remembrance Day what do you remember? What’s significant in that memory?
Our readings this week are Mark 12:38-44 and 1 Kings 17:8-16. Two stories of widows who generously shared what they could, without counting the cost.
