Why we Give

Giving comes from the heart, it is an acknowledgement and expression of our thankfulness for everything we own, and have comes from God.  When we give we are offering God a portion of the abundance he has given us.

Ways to Give

Thanks to donations and freewill offerings, Stettler United Church is able to operate and extend itself into the community.  

Please ensure the church office has your correct address by making sure it is on your cheque or donation envelope.  You can choose to support the church by making donations in a number of ways, scroll down for information on different ways of giving. 

PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance)  

This is a reccuring gift that is withdrawn from your account the middle of each month.  Please come to the office during office hours to fill out the forms bringing a void cheque with you.  Not only is this the easiest way to give, it is our peferred method as it is consistent and helps us budget accordingly.

To make a secure, one-time or recurring gift, simply click on the button below and it will take you to the donation page at tithe.ly (our online giving service).

Please note that we pay a service fee for this option but you do have the ability to cover the transaction fees when making your donation.

You can use your phone or tablet to submit your gift from whereever you are.  Click on this link  https://get.tithe.ly/download-tithely-app to take you to the download information page.  At this time we are not set up for text giving.

EFT – Electronic Funds Transfer ~ If you do online banking this is one way you can send in your contributions. Please use stettuc@telusplanet.net, and we are setup for automatic deposit.

At Sunday Worship

An offering is taken at each Sunday Worship, where cash or cheques are accepted.  All donations receive a tax receipt at year end.  Please make sure you use an envelope with your name and address (printed clearly) if you are donating cash.
