Happy Canada Day!!!!

~ANNOUNCEMENTS & INVITATIONS as of June 29, 2018~

o Shared Summer Worship Services begin Sunday, July 1st (wear red & white, eh!?!) The congregation of St. George’s Anglican are welcome to worship with us @ 10:30 a.m. during the month of July. In August -- at 10:00 a.m.-- St. George’s Anglican will host both congregations. ***Please remember to identify your offerings by clearly marking the cheque or envelope which church you’re supporting.

o Closed ~ The office will be closed Monday July 02nd.

o Thanks to Phyllis & Bob Erickson we’ll have our new table for our Board room delivered from Edmonton soon!

o Thanks for asking. Yes, Camp Sunday was a glorious day. A congregation of about 55ish, made up of folks from Bashaw, Erskine, Camrose, Stettler, Forestburg, and Oyen (2 yr. – 90+) – some who were at Bar Harbour for the first time -- worshiped, ate, and toured the site together. $1,000 was given in free-will offerings to the Camp.

• Kids' Summer Day Camp @ Stettler United Church , July 23-27, 9:00 – noon… Registrations have been coming in! Please help us get the word out!!
Darielle Rairdan (an experienced leader from Bar Harbour Camp) will
be joining us as coordinator! Please register your children (entering ECS – Grade 5/6) asap! Teen and adult helpers for one or more days are also appreciated. There is no registration fee, freewill offerings are gratefully received. (We took the lawn sign down because it's too expensive, so please, please, spread the word in all kinds of other ways... i.e. sharing this poster electronically or in print).
***If you can put posters up around town, please let Michele know and she will print some out for you to deliver. Thank you***

o Mobile Giving – We received our first online donation!! How exciting!! This app is perfect for holiday time, or anytime!!
The app can be found on “google play store” for Android, and the “app store” for iphone. Type Tithe.ly in the search bar to bring up and install the program. It is simple and fast to set an account up, and information is submitted securely using SSL with a 256-bit encryption. This is the icon you are looking for in your play store apps.

o Devotional & Information Magazines ~ Our most recent edition of the church's mission magazine -- Mandate -- has arrived and is available in the literature rack near Michele's office. Please pick-up read and share this and any of the other devotional and informational magazines that are available through our church.
