• Shared Summer Worship Services ~ The congregation of St. George’s Anglican are welcome to worship with us @ 10:30 a.m. during the month of July. In August -- at 10:00 a.m.-- St. George’s Anglican will host both congregations. ***Please remember to identify your offerings by clearly marking the cheque or envelope which church you’re supporting.
• Christmas in July ~ theme for Sunday, July 22nd… this will help us then move into day one of our Kids’ Summer Program with Christmas being the theme on July 23rd!
• Kids' Summer Day Camp @ Stettler United Church, July 23-27, 9:00 – noon… further registrations welcome. Please help us prepare by contacting the church office to let us know the names and ages of the children we can expect to see that week. There is no registration fee, freewill offerings are gratefully received.
Some specific help/donations we need for the Kitchen Centre:
o July 23rd – Star-shaped plain/sugar cookies (4 dozen);
o July 24th -- bread dough (fresh or frozen, enough for a few dozen pretzels);
o July 25th -- celery sticks, a small container of cream cheese, a small container of smooth peanut butter, and a package of fish crackers);
o July 26th -- bread dough (fresh or frozen, enough for a few dozen buns), and a package of regular size marshmallows;
o July 27th -- fresh fruits (orange & red colour, like flames).
Dontations of fresh fruits and garden veggies are welcome to broaden the choices and provide alternatives for children with allergies, etc. Please call the church office if you want to bring the items for a particular day. If you can help in the kitchen for one, some or all of the days, that would be great too.
o Imagine …a Community Kitchen at Stettler United Church... partly in response to knowing that many people eat alone and experience isolation. There are also those who want to learn about cooking. Why not come together to prepare and eat a meal together, and take other meals home for the freezer?
Firstly there would need to be a coordinator! Is that someone you?
