~ANNOUNCEMENTS & INVITATIONS as of Sept. 21, 2018~
o Children & Youth ~ Sue Stratulate, with help and cooperation from the parents of the younger children, will offer age appropriate biblical stories, crafts, songs and games in the JC Club room most Sundays. Wendy Staal is coordinating the YAC (youth-at-church) group. Sept. 30th is suggested as their first gathering time for 2018-19.
Please let Sue & Wendy know of your interest and ideas.
o Worship ~ September 23rd we'll have guitar accompaniment for Sunday Worship and a presentation from Jenny Munholland & Isaac Hernando regarding their participation in the GO project this summer in Vancouver.
o Orange Shirt Day is September 30th. o Lunch, Learning & Laughter ~ Please join with Jan on Fridays @ noon as we prepare for Sunday worship by discussing the themes found in the Bible readings. This week’s focus is John 6:1-13 (loaves and fishes). Next week will be Esther 7:1-6, 9-10; 9:20-22 and Mark 9:30-37 (Whoever welcomes a child, welcomes me).

• Annual Firefighter’s Food Drive ~ Watch for a Wildcat Football player at your door, on Monday October 01st, (starting around 6:00 pm) collecting food for the Firefighter's Annual Food Drive, for the Stettler Food Bank. Let's help them load the ATCO Trucks!!!
**If you can give a hand helping sort food (note, this is an extremely busy evening and is too dangerous for young children to be involved), please come to the United Church at about 7:00, all hands greatly appreciated!!
