Candle Lighting & Centring:
There's a hunger beyond food that's expressed in food, and that's why feeding is always a kind of miracle. -Sara Miles, Take This Bread
Call to Worship:
What mysteries there are in God’s world!
We, so sophisticated, stand in awe at the wonders of the natural world.
We look at the tiniest of seeds and wonder what will happen
From that small seed will grow a tree.
Although we consider our gifts to be small and insignificant,
God will use our gifts in miraculous ways.
Praise the God of small seeds and mighty power.
Amen.

*Hymn: “Magic Penny” (words by Malvina Reynolds)
Love is something if you give it away
Give it away, give it away
Love is something if you give it away
You end up having more
It's just like a magic penny
Hold it tight & you won't have any
Lend it, spend it & you'll have so many
They'll roll all over the floor, for
Love is something if you give it away
Give it away, give it away
Love is something if you give it away
You end up having more

Let us go forward into the world; aware of the gifts that we have, concerned about the needs of those we meet, prepared to offer the services that both support and energize God’s people everywhere.
We go from here to live the message of Christ with a bold yet tender faith.
We go in God.
Amen.
