Expected June Revenue, Expenses, & Shortfall
As of June 12, 2020 our deposited Revenue is $4380.00
Our confirmed revenue for June (PAR) $3273.00
First refund of the 10% wage Subsidy $683.00
Total June Revenue (confirmed) $8336.00

Total Expenses (approximated) $12,146.36 (this figure includes the updated Insurance fee for June of $1624.00, after which the monthly fee will be $724.00).

Shortfall for June ($3810.36)

****PLEASE NOTE*** The increase in insurance has been discussed and looked into. Jan spoke with Joel Den Haan and the majority of the congregations across Canada are with Hub (the company the United Church of Canada uses), and that the increase is consistent with all the other congregations. The national church has not been able to broker any better deal.

Financial Did you Know that...

Historically, the summer months are the quietest for receiving contributions.
While a few of our expenses drop a bit (utilities mostly), most of our expenses and do not and we still have those monthly obligations in order to keep the church operating.
We have very limited savings, and some expenses, specifically insurance has increased quite a bit for the 2020/2021 period. All the United Churches that are with HUB have received an increase of 30% and the National Church was not able to negotiate any lower fees from investigating other insurance companies.
In the Fall (hopefully not sooner) we will have to pay the $5000.00 deductible for the hail damage repairs.
We don't anticipate the current situation changing very soon, and considering summer is historically our slowest months we would appreciate any support you may be able to provide to help our church now and in the future.

The Church has not closed! While we don't hold in-person services at this time, we remain open and the financial obligations still have to be met.
